Welcome to the Jan Juc Surf Life Saving Club

Danger 1000 Ocean Swim
The 2010 Danger 1000 Ocean Swim was held at the Torquay Front Beach (Cosy Corner) on Saturday, 16th January 2010. Congratulations to all those that participated. Results for the 2010 event are now available. The next Danger 1000 will be held on 15th January 2011.

Bells Bash Cliff Run
The 2010 Bells Bash 8km Cliff Run between Jan Juc and Bells Beach was held on the eve of the Danger 1000 Ocean Swim on Friday, 15th January 2010. Congratulations to all those that participated. Results for the 2010 event are now available. The next Bells Bash will be held on 14th January 2011.

Junior Events

Danger Young Guns - Ocean Swim
The 2010 Danger Young Guns an ocean swim designed for boys and girls, aged from 9 to 13, was held at the Torquay Front Beach (Cosy Corner) in conjunction with the Danger 1000 Ocean Swim on Saturday, 16th January 2010. Results for the 2010 event are now available. The next Danger Young Guns will be held on 15th January 2011.		  

Junior Juc Bash - Fun Run
The Innaugural 2010 Junior Juc Bash took place along the beach and cliff tops of Jan Juc Beach on Friday 15th January, 2010, the same day as the Bells Bash Cliff Run. This event is designed to be an introduction to fun runs and is suitable for girls and boys aged from 5-12 years - making it a great day for all the family. The next Junior Juc Bash will be held on 14th January 2011.

The Club patrols during the summer season every Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays (except Christmas day) between 28th November, 2009 through to 5th April, 2010.

The Club runs a Nipper Program nippers aged 7 – 13 for approximately 4 weeks beginning December, 2009 to January, 2010.

The Club offers many opportunities for competition – surf boats, craft, water and beach – and is home to the 2004 World Champion Women's Boat Crew. Icons Download the club brochure (314 KB).

The Club is situated on the cliff top over looking the Jan Juc Beach in one direction and the Torquay Golf Course in the other. These facilities are available for hire. For enquiries, email the club info@janjucsurfclub.com.au.
