Membership is valid from 1 July to 30 June each year which includes clubhouse access and insurance coverage for both training and competition.  It is essential that membership is renewed by 1 July annually.

1.  Obtain your Working with Children Check (WWCC)

ALL members over the age of 18 MUST provide a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).

Ensure your WWCC is vaild and lists Jan Juc SLSC and Life Saving Victoria as your place of volunteering.

3.  How to Renew your Membership

• Nippers must be 6 years of age on or before 30 September.
• Nippers under the age of 13 must join with at least one parent/guardian under a Family/Family+ Membership category.

4.  Membership Confirmation

Upon approval of your membership, you will receive a confirmation of membership approval email.  Should your membership include Nippers, you will also receive a link to register your Nipper/s in their appropriate age category.  This registration must be completed for your Nipper/s to participate in the program.

Complete your Preliminary Swim Assessment at either a club day or at your local swim club/pool. 

If completing at your local swim club/pool, a copy of the completed assessment must be submitted to the office prior to registering your Nipper/s for the season.  Please note that registration cannot be finalised without receipt of this assessment and your Nipper/s will be unable to participate in any water based activities until the Preliminary Swim Assessment has been received.  

6.  Nippers - Complete registration

  Register your Nipper from the link provided in your letter of membership confirmation. 

Acceptance or rejection of any membership request is at the Board's discretion, refer to Jan Juc SLSC Constitution, Clause 8.4 (a).
