All swimmers should have trained specifically for the distance they have entered and be capable of completing the course in a reasonable time.
Water Safety personnel may remove swimmers from the water if they are taking too long to complete the course. This is for the safety of the individual swimmer and the overall event.
All competitors should be regular swimmers who have trained appropriately for their chosen distance. Regular medical check-ups are encouraged.
If you have not been swimming for some time, have never swum in the ocean, or have not previously participated in an open-water event, you should consider having a medical check-up before entering.
If you are unable to compete due to illness or personal circumstances, please email events@janjucsurfclub.com.au with your details.
Please note that entry fees are non-refundable.
If you have not collected your event entry pack and T-shirt, your pack will be mailed to you.
